Ibanez GB12 "George Benson"

The Ibanez GB12 is a George Benson signature guitar. It is an archtop guitar designed primarily for jazz. It is a limited edition 12th Anniversary Model. Prince played one from the late 1990s onward. In 1996, George Benson did some recording at Paisley Park and gave Prince the guitar as a gift. It became Prince's preferred archtop guitar, replacing his Epiphone Emperor Thinline. Prince liked to use this guitar in the studio for rhythm guitar parts.[1]
