Pearl SY-1 Syncussion

The Pearl SY-1 Syncussion is an electronic percussion instrument used by Prince and Bobby Z. The SY-1 consists of a sound module and a set of toms that trigger the synthesizer. Examples of the SY-1 on record include "Sexuality", "1999" (cymbal crashes)" and Little Red Corvette.

Bobby Z first used the SY-1 on the Controversy tour, and they became part of Bobby's electronic kit on the 1999, Purple Rain and Parade tours.[1]
