The Clavia Nord Lead 2 is a virtual analog synthesizer used by Prince in the studio from the 1990s to the 2000s. It most likely first appeared on Newpower Soul, and then appeared on every subsequent album up until Lotusflow3r. Prince played one live around the Newpower Soul/Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic era, combined with a Boss RV-3 Digital Reverb/Delay.
It was also used by Morris Hayes, Kip Blackshire and Renato Neto.
