John Blackwell

John Blackwell (9th September 1973 - 4th July 2017) was Prince's drummer from 2000 to 2004 and 2010 to 2014.
John joined Prince's band in 2000 and featured as a main drummer on the Rainbow Children album. He toured with Prince until 2004. He rejoined the band again in 2010 for the Welcome 2 America tours.
John Blackwell passed away on the 4th July 2017.
