Prince used a Yamaha Drumkit on albums throughout the mid 1980s, including Around The World In A Day and Sign O The Times. The exact details are unknown, but it could be similar to the Yamaha Recording 9000 kit used by Sheila E. One of these kits is currently in the collection at Paisley Park.
