Moog Polymoog 203a
The Moog Polymoog 203a is a paraphonic analogue synthesizer used by Prince on For You (listed as "Ms Poly Moog") and Prince.
It was an early paraphonic synthesizer - meaning that it could be play chords but used a single set of filters and envelopes to filter the oscillators, similar to an organ. Despite its limited programmability, its unlimited polyphony meant it was a popular keyboard at the time.
Prince used the keyboard for pads and brass sounds, and it appears on the songs "In Love", "Soft And Wet", "My Love Is Forever", "I Wanna Be Your Lover", "Sexy Dancer".
It was also used live by Gayle Chapman and Lisa Coleman.
