The Fernandes LSA-65 is an electro-acoustic guitar played by Prince. He acquired this guitar in the mid 1990s, and appears with it in the “Dinner With Delores” video. Like other instruments from this time, it has a custom gold finish.
The guitar is currently in the collection at Paisley Park and appears in the Prince - Guitar & Bass book. The book refers to the guitar as a Fernandes Super Grade, a Les Paul-style electric guitar, while Prince’s instrument looks closer to the production LSA-65, which is an acoustic guitar with a piezo in the bridge. Apart from the video it is not known whether Prince used this on any recording sessions or live shows.
