Pollard Syndrum
The Pollard Syndrum is an electronic percussion instrument, used by Prince on the For You album.
They were the first commercially available electronic drum. A set of pads (up to four) triggered a sound module that used an analog synthesizer to generate a sound. The drums were used in the disco era.
