The Boss CE-3 chorus is an effects pedal used by Prince in the 1980s. Susan Rogers has mentioned Prince using a stereo Boss Chorus pedal, which wasn’t available on the earlier CE-2 also used by Prince. Prince connected one of the stereo outputs creating a “wobbly” effect, heard on the keyboard part of “The Ballad of Dorothy Parker”.
Miko Weaver used a Boss Chorus pedal on the Lovesexy tour, assumed to be either a CE-2 or CE-3.
