Kirk Johnson

Kirk Johnson (aka Kirky J) was Prince’s drummer, dancer and percussionist.
Kirk joined Prince’s band as a dancer in 1990. Originally a dancer, he played percussion with the NPG. He left Prince’s band after the Act II tour. He associate produced Emancipation and joined a new version of the NPG in 1996 as a drummer. He remained the NPG drummer until 2000.
