Dez Dickerson

Dez Dickerson (born 7th August 1955) was Prince's guitarist from 1978 to 1983.
He joined Prince's band after the release of For You and toured the Prince, Dirty Mind, Controversy and 1999 albums. He famously performed the guitar solo on Prince's breakout hit, Little Red Corvette. He left Prince's band in 1983 to pursue other projects, although he makes an appearance in Purple Rain with his band the Modernaires.
